I can relate. I've been through quite a bit myself and I can tell you need some down time. What helped me was time alone at home to do whatever I wanted. Sleep, veg out in front of the TV, whatever. Doing only what was absolutely necessary.

I stress the "alone" because for me, it's the only way to really relax. Turn off the phone, stay out of your email. Just enjoy the solitude.

thank you all, I am sorry to those of you who have also suffered recent losses and crises.

I thought I would be able to rest, but so far nooooo LOL. Last Friday I awoke feeling like I was hit by a truck, but had to take the youngest shopping for an upcoming vacation and watch my granddaughters in the afternoon and evening. Saturday was chores and errands for mom, Sunday and Monday the same.

Today I am going to get that much needed rest and me time, some how.

Thanks again...

I think as woman we always struggle to balance everything - jobs, children, health issues, marriage, aging parents - it's never easy. And we deal with a certain amount of guilt that we're not doing a good enough job - at least I do! I have learned this past year - to let other's help me and to let go of my self-imposed perfectionism in all things! Health is the most important thing you will ever possess in life! Bar none!!
