credit card hack

Got a call from my bank yesterday that they had frozen my credit card due to some unusual charges. Went into the bank to investigate and found that someone had charged two orders from Zappos - one for $1500, and another for $1532, That's A LOT of shoes!!!! I've never ordered from Zappos so don't know where the hacking was done but I do know that this is not unusual and that there are hundreds of opportunities for someone to copy your card. Everything was quickly straightened out with no real harm done but it was not a comfortable feeling.
