I emailed all three of the email addresses discussed here. When I receive a response, I will let you all know.

Again, I am asking if others are as frustrated at the haphazard way this is handled, please email them and let's discuss openly our responses.

Just be sure to read the warning at the bottom of their email. It reads something like this:

The disclosure or copying or distribution of this email or the taking of any action based on its contents, is strictly verboten.

Obviously, I can't copy and paste the actual warning cause they wouldn't like that.

we'll see......Cool

PD, I was told by corporate that BazaarVoice moderates the forums. I'd ask for the person who manages the contract with BazaarVoice. Or look at a hierarchy of QVC and try to figure out where the community is and contact the most senior person.

As for "The President's office not taking complaints anymore", that is a JOKE. If anyone is really upset I'd have no problem calling or sending an email or snail mail to Mike George. Our overall experience with QVC is his top concern. Being ticked off by the social community doesn't generally give one the desire to shop here.

My mother is a pro at getting the attention of the top dog. We went on cruise this past summer to Europe and she was upset at something the part of the cruise company who handles the airfare and arrangements did, so she contacted the CEO's office. They ended up upgrading everyone in our party to business class with no extra charge. That was pretty big for an overseas flight. Anyway, my mom knows just how to phrase things to get their attention - as you can tell, I'm her number 1 fan. lol

I'll do my part and send something to the email addresses you provided. I'm right there with you re: being upset about how this place is moderated. IMO QVC does care, it's the subcontractor who is being rude to us.

I'm not overly optimistic about anything being resolved here.

Last month I attempted to point out discrepancies in moderation to the Social Team (in an email exchange). I received a reply that quoted a section of the Standards. I gave a specific example to support my point and after that they stopped replying.

I hope you have more success than I did PD. Good luck.

I hear you and understood the earlier posts about how I am complaining to the people I am complaining about.

If I were you -- I would make copies of those emails and mail them to Mike George's office. If Q is paying for management of message boards -- they need to know how it is going.

All of my years as a mystery shopper I know how it goes. I once wrote a horrible report on a restaurant. The manager argued with it and I had to really dig in my heels and make it stick.

Service is expected in all parts of a business. These boards are a great source of feedback for Q. They can be and should be managed a little better.

PD, after I was blocked I wrote a letter to Mike George detailing my issues with the way the Community was being (mis)handled. I got a phone call from a woman who said she was from the QVC President's Office (I can't remember her name right now, it starts with a "B") and she politely told me that they do not handle Community matters and I needed to email the QVC Social Team if I had any issues.

Someone on the Q Kitchen & Food boards had success with contacting someone at QVC about the removal of posts that were critical of the Temptations products. Maybe you can check over there for info on who they contacted. This was back a couple of weeks ago, maybe a month. I'd help you look, but I'm trying to pull myself away from the computer. As you can see, it's not working very well... lol.

Moderation isn't the problem.

I like you lots bikerbabe, but I must respectfully disagree. If someone posts something against standards then that person's post should be deleted and then the person banned if they keep it up. THAT's the moderators job on an online community. NOT to punish EVERYONE on the thread and then give no explanation after the fact.

I know what you mean.

I think the standards are too broad. Until they make them more explicit, they can just poof whenever and whatever.
