PD, I was told by corporate that BazaarVoice moderates the forums. I'd ask for the person who manages the contract with BazaarVoice. Or look at a hierarchy of QVC and try to figure out where the community is and contact the most senior person.

As for "The President's office not taking complaints anymore", that is a JOKE. If anyone is really upset I'd have no problem calling or sending an email or snail mail to Mike George. Our overall experience with QVC is his top concern. Being ticked off by the social community doesn't generally give one the desire to shop here.

My mother is a pro at getting the attention of the top dog. We went on cruise this past summer to Europe and she was upset at something the part of the cruise company who handles the airfare and arrangements did, so she contacted the CEO's office. They ended up upgrading everyone in our party to business class with no extra charge. That was pretty big for an overseas flight. Anyway, my mom knows just how to phrase things to get their attention - as you can tell, I'm her number 1 fan. lol

I'll do my part and send something to the email addresses you provided. I'm right there with you re: being upset about how this place is moderated. IMO QVC does care, it's the subcontractor who is being rude to us.

well, for what it is worth. I have copied all my posts since I seem to be flagged to have everything deleted. I have not started anything pol, only presented facts and POV different from someone else's yet, I have been called a rapid dog and insulted to the max and those posts were not deleted. I have been called a whiner for starting a post and nothing but lies were told about me, when I went to comment, the thread closed for commenting so basically only the lies got to stand, not my clarification.

So, there is no email or fax to the President's office. I have the switchboard number and asked to talk to them, you only get a voicemail saying leave a message and NO ONE gets back to you. I complained to customer service and they gave me this email

Qvcsocialteam@qvc.com. No one has responded yet.

There seems to be one or two posters who keep starting threads to rile everyone up or incite people to argue with them which of course will result in deletion. Why is this allowed? Do some people actually want a lawsuit to happen in the midst of all these crises, that's what we should be supporting?

I am from Cleveland and now the ramifications are getting worse. Schools are closing, nurses who were on that flight will have to miss work. The spread of all of this is going across country. We should be allowed to discuss this without being ridiculed and insulted. As I said, I have copies of all my posts so that if and when they might ban me, I have proof that I have not violated the standards.

You are so right.

I agree with you.

just something for goodness sake -- "no politics" would be fine -- and I think those who continue to post things knowing it will result in a poof (repeat offenders) should be banned.

I still think real names would help (vs. screen names) but people using real names on FB get nasty.

Oh heck no! Besides, we have multiple nics here all the time - how would one know if it's a real name?

I think we would lose way too many posters if they had to use their real name. I know I wouldn't do it.{#emotions_dlg.scared}

{#emotions_dlg.laugh}I remember a couple of years ago I wondered rhetorically if we'd think more carefully about our persona here if our real names suddenly were substituted (by the software here) for our nicknames. It didn't go over well.{#emotions_dlg.scared}{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I would like to say I received prompt and polite responses to my emails/questions from social.team@qvc.com and qvccommunity@qvc.com.

They are aware of issues that need addressing and are working on solutions that better fit the needs of the board.

Thanks for the update, Photo Donna.Smile
