Brach's Milk Maid.  I allow myself one per day.  Can only find them in one store in our entire 100,000 population plus.  None of the other compares.

The best caramels I've ever had were purchased in CVS. I can't remember the name but they were 3/$1 on display on the counter at the cash registers.  They are vanilla flavored and I thought they were delicious.

I like Trader Joe's dark chocolate salted caramels.

The center is soft and gooey, I hate a hard center caramel.

I saw those too a few years back and was so excited because they were so much bigger than Brach's.  I could not wait to have my nightly indulgent treat.  Spit that thing right out.  I still see them and I crave for the size and the good price but the flavor was so lacking.  Might would be great melted down in a recipe though.

I love caramels but don't buy them as I'd scarf them all down within an indecent time! LOL
