If you want to learn more about this rare occurrence, look up "Blood Moon Tetrad" history. This is much more than than just a reddish moon. I believe the Pope's visit at this particular time in history is extremely significant.

El Paso, TX....

 

 

@Bird mama  my eyelids "rolled in" about 9pm so I was a party--pooper and went to sleep...

in our area, the city lights obscure much of the brilliance of celestial events.

It was so cloudy that I only got a few glimpses. The photos I've seen have been absolutely spectacular.

Those of you who were able to see it were so lucky !

I missed most of the eventDSCF9128.JPG, but when I got outside, the moon was extremely bright, and this is the picture I took.
