Don't click that link! That's not the way Amz works. If you still want to find out, contact Amz or the seller.

Has anyone gotten a text from Amazon stating that a vendor of theirs has been dropped by them because t heir product was faulty or something like that. Because I had ordered the product, I was being given a refund and a replacement of the product which I had ordered. The above is not word for word but is the basics of the text I got. At the end there is a link to click to get my refund. Fraud or not?
I received one two weeks or ago. It stated it was a product I purchased in October.
I did not click on the link.
I called Amazon and asked. They couldn't find anything in my purchase history for
October which would be affected and didn't know anything about it.
I also went through my statements and found no refund from any vendor.

Go to your Amazon acct, if legit the message will be there. If you don't have an acct then contact Amazon...I don't trust links.

Fraud of the phishing type. Do not click on the link. Delete the email by sending it to Junk or Spam or any equivalent folder.
Give yourself a lot of credit for being suspicious and cautious. Curious enough to ask but not to click is the way to go. Kudos!

@kitcat51 that is exactly what I did. Thank you! And to the others who replied... thanks for your comments too. It seems I keep getting older, but not wiser, lol. But I learned something out of this.

Amazon does some weird stuff from time to time. They delivered a package here a few weeks ago. I got it. Did my usual thanks to the delivery person. Later that day, they said it was delayed. They kept saying that for several days. Then they apologized, said it couldn't be delivered, and issued a refund. I reached out and said I got it and to cancel the refund. They then had it listed as being returned, but also said it wasn't necessary to return it, and still gave me the refund. What?
I love Amazon and use them a lot, but from time to time, they go a bit haywire.

@cody2 Check your orders first, sounds like a scam to me. Call Amazon customer service
