I know last year, some of you had posted about how to get amazon prime at a cheaper rate. I've been looking at previous posts and I can't find it.

Does Amazon have something like this around Christmas? I know I can get it free for a month, I am interested in it for longer term.

I don't think you can get Prime any cheaper than what it is. At least I've never heard about it. Maybe you get a litter perk when you first sign up but I've been a Primer for 5 years now and have always paid the rg amount. Was $79 now $99.

I think, I think, (and I could very well be 100% wrong about this) but I think that students might get a discount on Prime, and if you are lower income you can get a discount on it.

But I'm not exactly 100% sure on that.

I have ordered from Amazon for many years. Several years ago near the holiday season they offered one year of prime at a discount, maybe $59.95 ( I really can't remember) just before the price increase to $99. It was a one time promotion  and the following years have been the same price.

I remember one year there was a price break and I think I took them up on it---was using my DD account and that is when I got my own----I stand corrected!!! Smiley Wink

Their website has information about prime students - the cost and how to qualify.

Ok, thank you all for your replies. I will just keep checking on Amazon and see if they may possibly have a day when it is cheaper.

We wouldn't qualify for the students or low income. I'm glad they have that though for students and those who need it.

Thanks again for the info.

I think Prime day ?

your other option is to share with a family member and split the 99$ fee

there is a way to share it on the website

Dont wait for a few dollars you are going to make up in a very short time  It is so good  You can get the Q stuff sometimes cheaper with free shipping  I havent checked but I bet you can get Drummonds cookbook for the same or lower price and pay no shipping
