am I able in "book club" to go back and find discussion from a few mos. ago?

I'm looking for info I got months ago on a book(s) I couldn't remember from the 40's to the 50's. I need to know If I can do it just under my QG name? or how to do it?

I'm going back page by page and find nothing on it. So I have been trying. Maybe they get rid of some posts??? Could that be it? Cause I have gone into my preferences too and found nothing.

Try looking under your "My Activity" icon up above. I have posts dating back to 2009 in my records, so one from a few months ago should be there.

Thanks gardenman, went back 225 pages, I don't want to do more, so maybe it was further back. I must be a gabber! Thank you though.

I searched under book club qualitygal and found

qualitygal, have you ever read The Awakening Land by Conrad Richter? It's a trilogy including The Trees, The Fields, and The Town. (It was also made into a mini-series starring Elizabeth Montgomery, Hal Holbrook, and Jane Seymour which is available on DVD.) We read it recently in our book club -- it wasn't one of my personal favorites, but most of the readers loved it. It sounds like almost exactly what you describe. You might also like an old book by Ben Ames Williams called "Come Spring," or "The Way West" by A.B. Guthrie which has a wagon train setting. I like that type of book, too. When I remember some more that I've read, I'll post another note.

Thank you so much, I'll jot these down!! Haven't read them yet. TY

Thanks Lovs, but what I was trying to find was these books I knew as a kid. Had 3 little girls on the cover all walking together. Someone found the answer for me, only I can't find where I wrote it down at to remind myself. Was going to go back and look it up, only that's what I can't find. Someone did find it for me! I may have to just give up.

Sounds like something I would do-write it down, put it somewhere, and never see it again! Good luck, don't give up, keep searching. If you could just remember the poster?

Use advanced search. From this forum (Entertainment) search for a word you might have used (book, maybe?), your username and "all time." It will narrow your posts a lot. Good luck!
