about this remodel

we are 1/3 of the way through a master bathroom remodel. The bathroom was so bad that the vanity top was Harvest Gold.

So what I would like to ask any of you: What do I need to be sure to not over look, check again before I do, re-think, In other words did anyone come to the end of a remodel and then say "I wish I would have..."

Thanks, and yes we are on a budget.
