LOL on the thread in AF..you were accused of being harsh..Huh?? reality stinks and I agree with you totally..Harsh was not what came to mind when I read your post at all!
I posted here as I am not sure if you will go back there.

I saw her response. It's funny how when someone doesn't like what they are being told, somehow the messenger is being "harsh".
Eh, it is what it is.
I just have to keep in mind who's saying it.
In other words, consider the source.

Curiosity compelled me to look at that thread after reading your note to Yuban. I'm still laughing. In fact, I'm rolling on the floor laughing. I think her golf cart rolled over her head. Do you think she was actually serious? Oh, to be a fly on the wall when she marched into an attorney's office with that complaint. Oh no, I just spewed my coffee.
BTW, Yuban's response was perfectly accurate.

I don't know if she was serious or not. It just seems like with the world that we live in today, whenever someone doesn't get their way, the first words out of their mouths are, "I'm gonna sue!!!", even if the "case" is 100% baseless.
It seems like no one wants to take personal responsibility any more. It's always someone else's fault that we didn't get what we want. It seems like no one wants to take a look at themselves, their actions, and say, "Yup, I mucked up. My fault."
No, now-a-days, it seems like people are saying, "I mucked up because you caused me to muck up, therefore, it's not my fault, but yours. So therefore, you must pay, because I'm gonna sue you."

The new generation of temper tantrums. It's my handwriting, but I didn't do it! I can do whatever I want just because ....... You are right Yuban. It's the way we are getting to be.

I would say ""tone"" has a lot to do with a response.
