Without getting into specifics, a small group of us at work (maybe 15 women) work under contract. A couple of years ago, 20 minutes additional on the day was negotiated into our contract. I very recently discovered that just about all of the other women, save one or two, are still putting in their daily hours according to the old contract. In other words, this shmuck (namely me) has been putting in an extra 20 minutes daily for the past 2-3 years! It certainly doesn't seem fair to me and I'm quite pizzed about it.
What would You do? Do you think I'm making a bigger deal about it than I should? (the 20 minutes does add up over time.
) Do you think I should stick to my schedule and ignore what the others have been doing for so long -- in other words, MMOB? Do you think I should ask our HR person what gives? (why am I the only one putting in the extra time?)
Any and all opinions very welcome. Have to run back to work now, but will check in later. TIA.
