Bears fan here.  No one is sure if they're going to build a new stadium in Indiana or stay in the Chicago area.  The billionaire owners want we taxpayers to offload some of the tax burden on ourselves rather than them carrying the load.  Oh well.

@smoochy  way off topic but do you remember the year that FSU came to East Lansing and MSU in 1987?  Great game if I remember correctly (meaning my team won) .  I was at that game and remember talking smack with Andre Rison that morning as we rode the elevator together at the Kellogg Center.

what a great story and memory! Andre Rison, wow!! So in 1987, my husband (ex) and I lived in Kalamazoo. He was an MSU alum, we had been to EL many times for games. However I was still a huge Indiana fan, as that's where I went to nursing school and am also from Indiana originally. I didnt pay a lot of attention to Mich State teams back then although my husband did. As time went on I began to support the Spartans more and more. Eventually I was hooked, lol. I guess my husband's influence got to me. 😊

my hs team was the Redskins until the Indians Native Americans came around demanding a name change in 2008. My classmate who was the public schools superintendent at the time, caved. He took a lot of flak for that. So the team became the Red Hawks 🙄

I live in NE Florida and root for the Jaguars. I love our new coach, Liam Coen, and the rest of the team. We did very well last year, and looking forward to watching them play this year.

I watch Kansas City because when I was in high school, the Spagnolo family moved in next to us. Steve Spagnolo is the defensive coach of Kansas City. He is 2 years younger than me. Hi sister, Donna, was my friend. My brothers were friends with the twins, Kevin and Kurt who are younger than Steve. Steve was focused on being a coach, but I don't believe that any of us thought he would be a NFL coach. I always want to see him do well.

So, being from New England, I also like the Patriots. I have no problem finding free football games to watch. I have Youtube TV and can watch football most of the day on Sunday.

@smoochy I love Trevor Lawrence too. He seems like a nice person. I love the Jags new coach too. Looking forward to another good season.
