So I decided to calm down a bit by taking a shower, and left my large jade hoop earrings near the edge of the bathroom sink. They were flat earrings, and neither were in danger of falling off the counter. I was in the shower, saying some prayers and also calming myself down and I heard a small crash.

When I came out, one (not both) of the earrings had somehow rolled off the edge of the sink. It was in pieces on the floor.

A few weeks later, I learned that the cancer had not spread, and that the excision surgery was successful.

I realize it was a coincidence, but I still do wear a piece of jade when traveling! I am wearing a piece of jade now.

I thought of a Christmas a life sized nutcracker purchased here from The Q many sunsets ago, when they were first introduced! The price was phenomenal! David presented them and they QUICKLY sold out! He used to flank the fireplace every year, but now "guards" outside the front door!🥰 Everyone that sees him loves him' especially young children!😁 It ranks at the top of my favorite purchases!

I probably have about 30, maybe more, pieces of green jade that my Mom gave to me. Earrings, rings, pendants, bracelets, all set in 14k. All from QVC. Mom loved watching that lady who presented the jade and she, like you, always wore one or more of her jade pieces. I like wearing then as they remind me of my Mom.

I was also intrigued by jade, but fell in love with the lavender color. I have just a few pieces, 2 rings, one pair of earrings and a bracelet, all natural lavender, not the dyed stuff that was more readily available. ❤

I cut my finger on a piece of glass before that was left in the disposal after cleaning it up, so I thought of this and wondered if it will prevent small pieces of glass from getting in there as well, or are the openings too large?🤞😊

@SandySparkle, My favorite QVC purchases are as follows:

(1) One that was made in the late 1990's. It is a 14K yellow gold ring with blue sapphires. I had just gone through a bitter divorce but had been admiring the ring for a long time. However since money was a bit tight I didn't order it. One day I ran into a colleague who was suffering from a brain tumor. She was wearing the ring and I told her how much I liked it. She told me to purchase the ring since life is short. That night when I went home I ordered it. A few months later, sadly, this colleague lost her battle and passed away. I still wear this ring often and think of her whenever I do.

(2) Kuhn Rikon 2-Cup Pull & Chop Food Chopper

I use this quite frequently. I have also given it as gifts. Everyone loves it.

(3) TOVA Signature Eau de Parfum. This is one of my favorite fragrances. I get many compliments whenever I wear it. Have been purchasing this from QVC for many years. It can also be purchased from the Beauty by Tova website but it is cheaper on QVC.

@KailaS Welcome!🥰 WOW! That was MANY moons ago!😁 I have several rose/pink colored coats of his! One of them I LOVE❤. I am pleasantly surprised about the Primula tumblers being favorite purchases of so many posters but that speaks to their quality!😊
