Assuming you could have your pick, what decade, or era, would you choose to live in?

I'm not one to long for the good old days, but I'd like to go back to my roots, the 50s.

For many reasons.

Loved everything about it.

I would say the 50's or 60's. Not sure why, exactly. Things seems simpler then, less complicated. This is a good question! I look forward to everyone's responses. How about you, @YorkieonmyPillow?

I think if I could choose, I would want to live in the 1940's - early '50s.

I think that must have been a great time to be alive.

The Roaring Twenties for me! I just love all the glitz and glamour of that era. Art deco is my favorite style of design.

Glad I'm not the only one - me too! There was a freedom in the 20s not seen again until the 60s and beyond.

I loved the 60's and the music. I was just a young girl, but it was a happy time until my dad went to Vietnam in 1969. I loved that I could walk down the street in San Clemente with my sister to buy candy and caps for my g*n. We were 5 and 6. My mom was so pretty in her capris and sleeveless tops and we went to the beach all the time. No crowds in those days.
