i get two newspapers delivered every day.......our local newspaper and the wall street journal. i still like having the news to read in my hands. these also come with online subscriptions. i wont give them up. if our local newspaper should cease to exist then i would start delivery of the new york times.

DH loves to read the newspaper every morning before he goes for coffee, so we still subscribe. I sometimes read the on line edition but he seldom does.

I have a digital subscription to me hometown paper, the New York Times and the Washington Post. I get print copies of me hometown paper and the NYTimes on Sunday. I'm seriously thinking about totally skipping the hometown paper as the only difference between the free, online edition and the paid one is formatting.

For 14 dollars a month we just get the weekend papers, and full access to on line. To buy the daily paper it's $300.00, way more than we can afford. We haven't been getting any for years now because of the money, but the online version won't let us see anything unless we pay something, it used to be free, but someone told us to just get the weekend edition and then we get the full paper on line. We have missed obituaries because we didn't have anything for awhile.

We can't give up the newsprint. It has a lot of uses like lining the birdcage, starting a fire, wrapping flowers and cleaning windows just to name a few.

No, we get them delivered, my husband likes that. We get the Raleigh News and Observer, WSJ, USA Today, Investors Business Daily and Washington Post.

I have just noticed that our local newspaper (News&Observer) has shrunk. It is so tiny both by length and width. It looks like a newspaper for the kiddies. lol

I like actually having the paper in hand while I am drinking my tea. I'm not much for reading from the computer. It's not the same thing to me.

I like a REAL physical book in hand....and a real newspaper. Old school I guess. Oh, like the previous poster said....I need the paper for my bird cages!

As long as they will deliver papers we will keep getting it! We get the paper delivered 7 days a week. I cant start my day without it! I eat breakfast while I read the paper. Been reading the paper since I was in grade school. Also, I don't see it as clutter. We recycle everything here (by law). They pick up recycling weekly. So our newspapers get recycled too of course.
