How many of you get your daily paper on line and not delivered anymore? We do, and like it - there is no clutter anymore!!

I do like the absence of clutter, but I hated not having the newspaper in my hands,

Also, I read more and more deeply when I'm reading paper instead of screen.

I have a digital subscription, which includes delivery of a Sunday paper every week. I really enjoy getting an actual paper once a week, but like having the ability to read it online, as well. I will definitely renew my subscription when it comes due.

Our paper charges over a hundred dollars a year more for web only access. Instead we get daily delivery and web access for less money.

Like Wookie, I get the Sunday edition delivered and read the daily paper online.

I get the WSJ delivered. I read everything else online.

We get the paper edition, every day. My husband doesn't use a computer but even if he did, I know he'd prefer to hold the paper in his hand and not read from a screen.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I must have the daily paper in my hands. My morning just isn't right without scanning the paper and doing the puzzles every day. During the day, I check for news updates on line.

I tried getting the paper somewhat recently and I had to quit it. It was more of a pain than it was worth. Some papers wouldn't show up. They would offer to extend my subscription but all I wanted was just to get the papers. Then the person must have just driven by, stuck his arm out the window, and drop the paper on the street. He couldn't have at least tossed it somewhere near my house?

I didn't last long. I don't get an online version, though. I just pick up bits and bobs of news here and there.

It was great for several years reading online for free instead of print. Now they have started charging for being able to read certain articles unless you have a subscription for online. I wrote them an email and said forget it. I read what I can then move onto other local media outlets for the rest of the news.

Recently they stopped home delivery of our local paper to rural areas.
