I bought this whiskey barrel shaped waterfall the water was suppose to come out of this black spikit or something.
Another dumb purchase was the frozen key lime pies. By the time I received them it was like soup.

I bought one of those fake hanging flower baskets with the lights that was a TSV last year. It looks OK, but the lights DON'T WORK. That type of stuff just irritates me - how can something brand new NOT WORK?.
But, no, I did not return it because the box was too big, and I was too lazy to deal with it. I do use it, without the lights.

Space bags---might as well have tossed the money out the car window.

ChargeIt!! Battery station .... yes, it does recharge batteries, but they do not last half as long as QVC claims they do .... and we noticed that some of the batteries leak after they have been charged .....
Waited too long ... so was not able to return! (But we do get some extra life out of our batteries, so I guess that is a plus!!)

At the time I was trying to get my credit card paid down to ZERO and I had sworn off charging anything, yet I bought a pair of those Orthaheel shoes (was around $122 with tax and shipping) and I used the easy-pay option. Even though I still wear the shoes, I kicked myself many times for adding that onto my credit card at that time! That was my biggest mistake with the Q. The product itself wasn't a mistake, but my choosing that very time to use my charge card was the mistake!! I am over it now though. LOL

My biggest QVC mistake was EASY PAY!
I did most of my Christmas 2012 shopping on the Q and one month I had over $600 in easy payments . Outrageous. I finally paid off my monthly charges and swore off easy pay. If I can't pay for the item outright, I don't buy it.

On 2/24/2014 chickenbutt said:The only one I can really think of is this roll out garden thing I bought years ago. It was this big roll of whatever it was that you could cut up and plant in various places, or just roll it out and plant one big, long thing.
Anyway, the idea was that it was supposed to grow a bunch of flowers. Well, all it grew was weeds. Of course, by the time I knew this, it was too late to return it. They really get ya with stuff like that.
Me too! Except I didn't even get weeds. I got nothing.
And yes, by the time I realized it was a dud, it was too late to return it. I tried, though! But they wouldn't budge.
I will never make a mistake like that again. I go to my local nursery now.
