There is a website called 'soaps she knows' and will tell you who the actors are playing and on which day. I don't believe it was Dave King although they looked similar.

he has done quite a few guest spots on different shows recently. he usually posts when he is going to be ""appearing"" on a show......i guess he forgot about this appearance or was not sure when it was going to air.

And Soaps She Knows for some reason did not give credit to who played the Dr. today on the 24th http://soaps.sheknows.com/youngandrestless/comings_and_goings/
