My DH just looked at your photo and said this guy is a mule deer. He said this because of the size of his ears. He's a young buck and he's thick in the neck because it is their mating season. Plus being two toned. I just wanted him to see the size of this guy. Great picture.

I'll bet he has his choice of young ladies!  His "hair" reminds me of the pompadours in the film "Grease"!
