For those of you who may be baffled, this item is referred to as a "typewriter."  I have three of them in the garage if you're interested.

I used them to produce research papers.  Research that was done in a large building referred to as a "library."  In this building there were these things that were referred to as "books."  Research items could be found by using a card file or microfiche.

Google it.

LOL!   Microfiche really takes me back...now I feel even older!  That building called a "library" didn't have a/c either, and the windows rolled out.

It's a sign of the times.  When I ask patients to sign a form they hesitate, then scribble something on the paper that bears no resemblance to what might be a signature.  They don't know cursive.

I used to like antiques.  Now I am one.

I'm always way behind in keeping track of the latest rappers.  Some of these names make me laugh.  I STILL can't understand much of what they're talking about.  I guess I'm lucky because they don't listen to much rap music (at least not when I'm around).

I know some of the more famous singers and groups and like some of their music.  It's not like I'm hip but some of the music today is really good.

Just because it's new doesn't mean it isn't good; just as just because it's old doesn't mean it's good.....Ever listen to some of the old lyrics to the songs of 'our' (I'm 70) teenage years?

My mother used to say, "If you want to feel old, only hang out with old people.  If you want to feel young/good, hang out with young people".  My mother was a wise woman.

I listen to current music and (music from 80's on). I am not into too much rap besides (like pitbull),  but I know many of the rap artists.
