They're a bit like "one-hit wonders"--known primarily for one thing:
Susan Backlinie - the first victim in the opening scene of Jaws
Anita Darian - sang that well-known and oft-imitated soprano part in "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"--and wasn't even a member of the Tokens, so she was essentially uncredited
Elise Morris - sang the guttural shriek in the opening titles of "Cold Case"
Loulie Jean Norman - Anyone who's ever heard the original TV "Star Trek" theme has heard her......Oooh OOOOOHHHHH oo oo oo oo oohhh........
All women
. Unless you count Earle Hagen, who whistled "The Fishin' Hole" on the opening titles of "The Andy Griffith Show."
