My cat Moe can be such a pest when I cook dinner, he wants food too and just won't let up until I give him something. We had salmon the other night and he was carrying on like a dog would. I'm going to try the singing and see if he hates it and leaves.

In high school, I was released from gym class because I was such a klutz. They assigned me to glee club instead. There, I was told to only "mouth" the words......because I am tone deaf................

We were required to take PE for 4 years. I was also in Glee Club 4 years. I would have loved to skip PE to sing even more. I am a soloist in my church choir. I also sang in a local band for a few years. I love to sing!

@wilma I think we all love to sing but you are lucky that you sing well and people enjoy hearing you.I have always envied people that could carry a tune.when I sing the dogs howl and polite people give me annoyed looks.I will sing anyway because it makes me feel happy but I try not to in public so that I don't spoil the occasion for others. My mom told me to sing to my son as a baby but that was a mistake...sings like me now that he is grown.LOL.

Years ago DH and I chose to sit in our church seats in the 3rd row form the front. The first 2 rows had dials that could turn up what was being said or sung.
One Sunday after the service the choir director came up to us and said "I hear you guys are really good singers, would you like to join the choir?"
We both looked at each other and laughed and asked "who told you that?" She said the couple you always sit behind and we told her they Must have been picking up someone else as neither of us could carry a tune in a bucket!
