Yet another question about eBay!

I had $6.34 in eBucks reward but the amount was not taken off the price of the article I ordered so emailed seller who said best for me to contact eBay. Now here is the question--from time to time I see a HIDDEN beside the price and don't have a clue what that means--do you???? I did message Paypal and tell them it should be deducted and will see what they say....did any of you ever experience this or what HIDDEN means??

I think you have to request the funds. The seller wouldn't know anything about it. I noticed the other day I was asked if I want to redeem my money. What do you see hidden beside the price?

Re: Yet another question about eBay!

My son sells on eBay and I just asked him about the HIDDEN...he said he has never seen it and hasn't any idea what it is. The only thing he could think of was if someone has a reserve price on an auction, that price is not shown-only the starting price or the current bid is shown. As far as eBay Bucks, did you get a message from eBay saying you had a certificate to redeem your eBay Bucks? Unless they've changed it recently, the bucks accumulate for 3 months and then you're notified when they're eligible to be redeemed. Click on Support and you can find a phone number to contact eBay.

I don't think they're counting anything less than $10/qtr now.

I thought it was $5 but either way I think it's unfair and wrong. I suppose it's meant to make more sales especially from those who are close to the required amount but it's had the opposite affect on me, I've stopped buying altogether.

I got a msg that I have $6+change, so it must be $5.

Re: Yet another question about eBay!

did you get your ebay bucks certificate saying that you have that amount available to apply to a purchase RINGER??? you will get a eBay Bucks Certificate 3–15 days after the end of the quarterly earn period. and it can't be redeemed until you get that email saying it is ready. as long as it is $5 or more in a quarter.

whatever that amount is when i purchase something it is automatically deducted from the price before i have to checkout with paypal. you do NOT have to request your ebay bucks. i have never had to so anything to use it once i was notified of how much i had and it was available to me.

as for ""hidden"" price - i think you mean reserve. that is the only time you can't see what price the seller has set.

Re: Yet another question about eBay!

$5 is the minimum you need to have, and if you dont have $5 it does not get rolled over, I think that is a terrible practice, have often complained.
