We will go to our daughter's house.  Her children are in a parade.  After we will have a cook-out and if the weather and water temperature permit, some of us will swim.

It always depends on the weather.

If it's nice out, we'll probably BBQ and just kind of spend the day relaxing.

Staying home and avoiding all the crazy tourist traffic. Got back Tuesday from a 15 day road trip that started with a Mini Cooper rally at The Tail of the Dragon, Lake Rabun, Chattanooga and back to Northern Michigan. DH is working in Cleveland so the dog and I will enjoy the quiet.

Leaving our beautiful beach town to go work on our latest purchase in Ocean City, NJ. 

Just read where it was voted Coastal Living's Best Beach in America for this 2016.  YAY!

No barbeques at the house though.  It's being totally renovated and will be for most of the summer. 

Staying a week or so with my sister at her in laws who also own on the island.

We're heading out tomorrow to avoid holiday travelers.

Hope every one has a safe holiday weekend.

My daughter and her family will be coming up tomorrow night. Going to the lake on Sat & Sun. Good food, good drinks, good times! Summer will be officially here - woo hoo!! Everyone have a good one!!

Mz iMac...My mom and I used to go to Atlantic City every fall...haven't been since she passed 10 years ago but we would have a ball there...nice memories...

DH and I might go there later this summer or fall...we hope to be traveling to Maine to maybe relocate from Colorado..

Anyway this weekend we will be staying home  and later go into town for a parade and then to our little Vietnam Memorial park for a ceremony...

so far, me either...depending in weather, prob take a walk and say prayer for all soldiers thanking them with all my heart...I usually come home from epwalk hungry so I'll cook a couple of wieners and some sauerkraut, baked beans, catch a classic on TCM channel, kick back and eat!😋

Last time I was in Atlantic City was  1988...went for the weekend with my then husband.  At the casino we were staying in, that evening I saw Warren Beatty and got his autograph.  He and an entourage of people were scouting out the casino for possibilty of shooting a movie.  Anyway, he was tall, kinda thin and I just remember how pale he looked...didn't find him very attractive, but was nice to give his autograph on a cocktail napkin, was all I could find.

My husbands been off for over a week and is off through Monday. We have been doing things together like movies, errands, out to eat, Dr. appts. etc.

But this weekend, we are going to my daughters on Sunday for a party. Daughter and granddaughters are all vegan or vegetarian, (we are not and neither is son in law but that is the type food we will have).

Otherwise, DH and I are going to the movies Saturday or Monday and out to eat one fo those days, and also perhaps to the museum, and to a nursery to get flowers. Friday DH has more eye tests too as he will be getting corneal transplants soon. We will also go to my parents and grandparents graves to put flowers down.

Thats our weekend in a nutshell.
