Berra died of natural causes.

I hate to say this, but I hadn't even realized he was still alive!

Me too!  I had not heard anything about him for years!  I remember when I was a kid and he used to do those Yoo Hoo commercials.

He was truly a legend!  May he rest in peace.

RIP to a wonderful athlete and a man with a way with words. I love his "Yogi-isns."

The nicest thing in the Huff Po coverage was a post in the comments section:  "Yogi's been traded to the Angels."

Re: YOGI BERRA DIED - AGE 90

Yogi was a wonderful person. He actually gave my College commencement speech along with Bruce Willis. It was great. I graduated from Montclair State. He has his museum there along with the Baseball stadium in his name. He was a lifelong resident of Montclair and the surrounding towns. It was a normal thing to see Yogi walking on campus and holding court with a number of students.  A giant among many in his own quiet way. He will be missed.

Oh, what a wonderful comment, and undoubtedly true!
