Today's show:

Billy runs into Phyllis who compliments him. She needs some help about something other than work. Kelly is looking at a picture of her and Jack in the paper and she's laughing about it. She tells Ben that Jack still loves her. Adam drops in to see Jack - he's not happy to see him. Adam reminds him to call him Gabriel - he's there to talk about the new job he'll be offering him.

Noah drops in to Sharon's house and asks Mariah how she's doing - today is the custody mediation.
Mariah has been encouraging her all morning - Noah and Mariah argue as Sharon comes down and Noah tells her she looks ..... Sharon wonders if she should change again - Faith is eavesdropping - it could all be decided today. Nick drops in to Avery's office - he's early - she briefs him on what's going to happen today. Nick and Sharon and the Attorneys will meet with the mediator. Nick asks if the mediator will decide right away - Avery says he'll take the time to consider the entire situation. Nick seems antsy - there's a lot to think about. Avery asks him if he's certain he wants 100% sole custody.

Jack tells Adam there is no job - it would be dangerous if he hired him - dangerous for Adam and Billy. Adam threatens to send Billy to prison again - Jack says there would be too many opportunities for Adam to slip and for Billy to find out who he really is and want to kill him again.

Nick says he's been doing some soul-searching. He was furious when he found out what Sharon did to him with respect to Summer - he asks Avery if he's doing the right thing? Nick says at Xmas Faith was so happy -everyone was together and getting along - even he was happy. He wonders what's best for Faith - she needs him 100% sure. He's trying to decide. Noah and Mariah will be babysitting Faith - Sharon appreciates his support. Sharon doesn't think Faith knows what's going on but she's listening in - Faith says goodbye but doesn't let on what she knows. Noah and Mariah are arguing about who Mom likes best. Summer and Austin drop by - Mariah isn't thrilled to see them.

Courtney tells Kevin that Harding is on the warpath today - he has a box and won't say what's in it.

Phyllis asks Billy about Kelly - the clingy conniving home wrecker he slept with. She needs his help for her and Jack's help - she is concerned about Kelly. Billy thinks she has Phyllis running scared. She's a nice girl who had a relationship with Jack while she was sick. Billy asks why she's trying to stir up problems since she's already won. Kelly hasn't accepted that reality and she needs to get a handle on it before there's a disaster. Billy thinks if Phyllis continues thinking the way she is now she's going to end up with some real problems.

Adam is still pleading his case for a job and threatening blackmail. Sage calls Adam - she's crying. He'll leave right now. Constance is in bad shape. Adam leaves but he expects a job the next time he sees him - right now he has to be Gabriel.

Courtney tries to find out if Kevin was out with Mariah last night - he says they aren't dating. Courtney says falling in love has nothing to do with timing. Ben talks to Kelly about Phyllis - she thinks Jack is a prisoner of his conscience - he's only staying with Phyllis because of what she's been through. Ben asks Kelly why she thinks Jack still loves her - she says he couldn't admit it. Ben says maybe he didn't want to hurt her feelings but she's not having any of it. Kelly gets mad at him - why can't he be happy for her for once.

Avery tries to let Nick know there's no guarantee and then Sharon walks in - her Attorney hasn't arrived yet. She came early and was hoping for a private moment with Nick before they start. Nick is okay with that.

Gabriel arrives home - Constance is on her last legs - she probably won't last through the day. Gabriel asks what she'll do without Constance - she asks if he thinks she's pathetic - she has plans - he doesn't have to worry about her.

More Phyllis c r ap about Kelly . She accuses Kelly of sabotaging her car - Jack can't believe she thinks that as he walks in and overhears.

Sharon and Nick agree they should avoid court all together - Nick is willing to compromise - he doesn't want this to be nasty or prolonged - Sharon hugs him and thanks him.

Summer and Austin came by to visit Faith while Sharon and Nick are meeting - then Courtney arrives to. Everyone is there to help with Faith who apparently is upstairs. Courtney asks Mariah if Kev is ok - they mention he had been arrested before - they all think she has a lot in common with Kevin. Kevin is thinking about his kiss with Mariah under the mistletoe. Kevin is writing his book again about his experience with Mariah.

Constance dreams that Gabriel is welcoming her to the hereafter - she sees the light. She says to Adam he is not her grandson.

Summer and Austin and Courtney and Noah are playing a board game with Faith. Summer notices the weird vibe between Courtney and Noah every time marriage is mentioned.

The mediation turns into a free-for-all as Sharon's Attorney gets into it and her and Nick argue and can't come to any consensus so the custody battle will go to a trial.

Phyllis continues to insist that Kelly is a woman scorned and they need to be weary of her.

Constance passes away and then Adam and Sage discuss her will. It appears that almost everything was left to Gabriel but Sage says she's in the will and shocks Adam when she says she gets half the estate because she is Gabriel's wife.

Looks like Kelly will be wrote off pretty soon. She's going the way of Patty Williams. Getting all nutso, then , she will be carted off about like the ho that was found over at Jack's house.

smilin' jack best leave the ladies alone. His track record is horrible !

Poor Ben will have a nutty sister, mother is long gone and she was mentally off too.

Billy, will start barking he doesn't want Ben around Katy then. Billy, needs to get Victoria (since she never shops for clothes or home furnishings)some of those electric blinds that you push a button and they close for you. For the folks who are to lazy to twirl a wand around to close your blinds. ROFL

Time for Blondie to move on. When the new Phyllis came in that was her character's death knell. She was just a stand in for the real act. Ben will end up going back to Jenna probably and idiot Victurdia will go back to useless wonder.

Yikes ! Amarillo, Tx is getting 3-5 inches of snow tonight and maybe one more on Sat.

Fox is laughing, but, down here that's like call out the military. I just want my flipping UPS and FedEx orders to arrive today as scheduled , then, I won't have to worry about weather problems.

That Faith kid hiding behind the door listening in gives me the creeps. Especially , as played by that 'snark' Faith. Sure, you feel sorry for her, but, she's like the bad seed girl from that old movie from long ago. ewwwwww

Nick and Sharon would fight over the last roll on the platter. Never saw 2 of the worst right fighters in my life. Dr. Phil would rip 'em a new one.

Sharon should have filled her lawyer in about the agreement she and Nick almost had...and her saying Faith hates Nick was a low blow.

If you know anything about lawyers you know what I'm thinking he saw an opp to take it to court and drain the Newmans' of around 50,000 a piece (on both sides, but, Nick will probably get a cut rate) , Long drawn out court case, taking depositions, rescheduling apt's, cancelled court dates, numerous witnesses being called in, psych evaluations of both parents and child, mental health professionals being called in, Noah and Faith and Summer will be called in, etc

Mitchell Sherman, Jr. doesn't care about that kid one %. He knows all he has to know. both parents are loaded and have deep pockets. He'll drag that out till Victor gets called in for his money after Nick runs out.

and I KNOW I am LOL Once you get into the legal system it's all about the bucks. Just a game they don't care about the people all about the courts getting their money for their coffers and the lawyers getting fat with their underlings doing their job for them. Each phone call costs you, each deposition that YOU pay for is $500 even if it's the other side that is trying to nail you. YOU pay for them to talk to help nail your coffin. Lawyers have "billable hrs" that range around 200/hr. Every little thing is extra, no matter how small it all comes out of your pocket and oh yeah, don't forget it's money up front. They won't take your case unless you hand over retainer fee of $5,000 up front that day. then, you have court costs. I can go on and on, but, of course I know nothing about what the courts do. LOL
