There is a New Year's Eve party at the GC Athletic Club. Jack and Phyllis are on the guest list. Kelly is pi*sed about this.

Phyllis is busy helping Summer with her dress, so Jack goes to the party ahead of Phyllis, with Phyllis planning to join him ASAP.

Kelly greets Jack at the club. Jack makes it clear to Kelly that he's attending the party with Phyllis -- and that Phyllis will arrive shortly.

Kelly seems at first to be calm, cordial, and professional; and Kelly and Jack have a conversation. Jack seems to think everyone can cheerily move on with their lives and get along fine. But as Jack's conversation with Kelly continues, he finds Kelly's words/behavior to be troubling.

Phyllis' car breaks down. Phyllis finally arrives at the party much later than expected, and in a bad mood due to the car trouble.

When Phyllis arrives, she sees Kelly with Jack -- and misconstrues the situation.

Phyllis is pis*ed off.

Baby Katie has a fever. Stitch says Katie is okay; but Victoria and Billy take her to the hospital Emergency Room anyhow. Katie is fine and they bring her back home to Victoria's house. Billy and Victoria tell Stitch he was right. Billy leaves.

- Victoria asks Stitch to make love to her.

At the Abbott house, Adam shows Jack a scar from a bullet and tells him Billy shot him. Adam explains why he came to Jack. If he can't count on Jack to protect him, he'll have to count on him protecting Billy. They bicker about whether Billy would be convicted. Adam makes it clear he's desperate and has a chance to come back as something other than Victor's son. Jack hollers that he doesn't just want freedom, he wants the woman Billy cares about. They argue about Chelsea. Jack reminds him he's dead. Adam says he'll do whatever it takes to get Chelsea back and implores Jack to give him his freedom. He insists Billy belongs with Victoria and Chelsea isn't truly happy with Billy. He likens the situation to Jack choosing Phyllis when she came back - there was no choice at all. Adam reminds him they're friends; he wanted him to be happy he was back. Jack agrees to help him for Billy's sake and wants a promise that the old Adam is gone. "Be better." Adam swears.

At the Club, Sage thanks Nick for bringing her there. They run into Victoria, who meets Sage and makes her smile by telling her Nick was starting to think she was a dream. They talk about Vikki being Victor's right hand at Newman-Chancellor. Nick calls out on her reaction to Victor's name. He assures her he's nothing like him. Sage wants to find her friend. Nick notes his grandmother's illness seems to mean more to her than him. Sage goes upstairs and Adam appears. Nick says, "Bingo." He reminds him he was his big brother at the academy. "You're Gabriel Bingham." Adam says those years were a blur. Sage reappears. Nick learns he is Sage's friend. She takes Adam to see Constance. Nick looks up Gabriel's photo and recalls him being at the bear trap. Nearby, Lily asks Devon if he'll be bringing Gwen for New Year's. She can't understand why he wouldn't. They discuss Neil. Lily knows for a fact if not for Hilary, Neil wouldn't have just thought about drinking. In the office, Ben hugs Kelly and tells her he got to hear Max's voice thanks to Victoria. Kelly clearly thinks of Sam, but won't make it about her. She got through Christmas and just wants to get past New Year's. Later, Kelly is upset when Lily warns Jack and Phyllis are on the New Year's guest list, but promises to do her job and smile.

Chelsea and Billy are at Crimson Lights to get out of the house. They canoodle on the patio and then sit down to talk about New Year's. Talk turns to Billy and Victoria's wedding anniversary and to Johnny. Chelsea notes when Billy looks at him he only sees his son, not how it happened. Later, Kelly thanks Ben for being a good big brother. Ben notices Chelsea on the patio and thanks her for getting Jeff to drop his suit. Chelsea remarks on them ending up here - knowing they're both such cons who now have a chance to be loved. They agree not to screw it up.

Phyllis comes to Neil's door and tells him they have something to discuss. She needs something work-related and Hilary offers to help by pulling up Jack's schedule. Once alone, Phyllis wants advice about the fashion division. "If you're not coming back to Jabot, at least make me look good." Neil urges her to use her anger to succeed .Phyllis realizes Neil went to see the doctor. Neil whispers that he saw the candle flame and shadow but worries about getting his hopes up. He can't wait to see his wife's beautiful face again. Hilary reappears and Phyllis goes. Neil wants to get rid of Hilary's birth control pills. Hilary tears the cover off the package and audibly disposes of it, but keeps the pills.

At Victoria's house, she and Billy joke while putting together some baby gear and talk about New Year's. Billy says he and Chelsea discussed it but got distracted. Victoria realizes it was by their wedding anniversary. She wonders what they were thinking with the tattooed rings. Billy says they were thinking if they were permanent, they would be too. He wonders how they made it so far but couldn't survive losing Dee.

At home, Phyllis finds Jack agonizing about his deal. She tells him she made New Year's reservations at the Club. Jack agrees but seems disturbed when he hugs her.

Neil tells Phyllis he enrolled in an experimental program - and he tells her he saw light and shadow on Xmas eve. She's excited but he tells her to be quiet - she says he has to tell his wife but he doesn't want to get her hopes up yet. Phyllis understands - Neil isn't sure if this is the program or his vision is coming back. He does have hope - he can't wait to see his wife's beautiful face again. Hilary overheard that and smiles. Hilary has the schedule for Phyllis and she doesn't want her to say anything about hitting Neil up for some help. Phyllis thanks them both and says goodbye. Neil promises Hilary they can make their life better. He talks about having a baby - why don't they see She says there are no guarantees - he knows but they can always try - what a bonus to their relationship. She gets up and takes her pills and throws them away - but she only threw away the case - she kept the pills -but Neil can't see that.

Devon calls Gwen to ask her to the New Year's Eve party - she's available and its a date.

Sounds like a great week leading into 2015! Storylines are really popping!

I thought I heard somewhere that Sage will end up being related to someone in GC, I wonder who? She said both of her parents were dead & she was a ward of Constance, who's long lost kid could she be?

I swear, these dumb dumbs rush every single baby to the hospital for a sniffle. Sounds like Kelly is going to go cray, cray. Sage will probably end up being a Newman or an Abbott. Typical.
