Hi Susy...it sounds like you dodge tumbleweeds about as much as we dodge deer here in Georgia. That's why I do not drive at night unless I absolutely have to. They run across in family groups and some stop and stare right at you. BIG reason folks needs to keep their phones away while driving. Speaking of tumbleweeds...how do they like your new sprinkler system? I'm sure that they were "blown away"! Couldn't resist!

About the show...If Rick and Caroline hire Chelsea, will she move to B&B?

We hit deer up in Ind. yrs. ago many an insurance turn in for repairs. He put those deer whistles on the front end of the cars seemed to help. I don't drive at night hardly at all. When we go on vacation I make him stop for the night before dark. Don't do fog either.

Yeah, I'm against texting and blowing off on phones. They passed a no cellphone law in Amarillo, Tx 200 fine if they catch U on your phone. I just have a Tracfone that I renew once a yr. hardly ever used it LOL Don't know how people afford to have phones for the whole family and each kid texts for so much a minute. I'm afraid Rick wouldn't allow that. My real estate told me few yrs ago her grandkids text each other from the front seat of the car to the back ! How dumb is that? Open your mouth and lean over ! LOL Oh, well, I'm not paying for it. LOL

We got the sprinkler in and done with, but, it wasn't without drama. First day they hit the water line, then , they hit the electric line going from the house to the pole barn, then, they hit the gas line , twice......... They fixed as they went along at least they had to eat the costs.

Then, one nite I got a call from the guy who owned the sprinkler business said his buddy was mad because all those extra costs he made the guy pay for out of his pay and he threatened to come down and get it from us ! So, the guy called the police to tip them off in case he tried to come down and get into it with us. I turned off the lights and watched for him , in case, he would show, I wasn't gonna discuss it , just call 911 and let them handle it. Mercifully, he never showed up. I sit on the phone and talked to my sister in the dark. LOL Such is my life !

If I was Chelsea I'd pack up the baby and the nanny and move . P on Chloe. LOL

Well...you know Anita and Jeffrey would be right behind her! Her family is definitely a money-hungry "bag of mixed nuts!" Of course, who isn't in "soap land"?

emmiesmom...I wanted to let you know that I think you are a good person with a kind heart. I responded to you on your thread but it is getting lost in a sea of mixed remarks. I just wanted you to know so you can read it. I believe it is response #10. I know that everyone is entitled to his/her opinion but I was always taught the "Thumper response", "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." If I read something that I don't agree with, I generally close that thread and go on to others that interest me more. I just could not ever put someone down for what they write about. Reading some of these posts reminds me that there are still "bullies on the playground."

My grandfather had a bad accident hitting a deer ... we happened to be there visiting. Not only was the car a mess, but my grandfather was traumatized. They are such gorgeous animals and I can only imagine the shock of one jumping out at you! I hear the deer whistles on cars can be helpful is alerting animals that "something" is coming nearer. I hope they work as much as they claim.

I sometimes write on another Y&R board, and just about everyone has concluded that Adam is innocent .... there was never any noise when he skidded to avoid the little dog, yet there was broken glass! Now HOW do you hit something hard enough to break glass but there's no sound of impact? Impossible!

I think the broken glass on the headlight happened earlier in the day when Adam and Chelsea were at the hospital with Connor regarding his eye exam. Lots of crazy drivers in hospital parking lots.

The Foresters talk to Chelsea about designing for them. They ask if she needs to consult her partner Chloe but she says no - she's a free agent other than the work done with Jabot. Chloe overhears this and in a fit of rage she takes a scissors to the back of the fancy red dress Chelsea is going to wear at the end of the fashion show when she is introduced as the designer.
