SW MI. Bunch of stuff closed. It's one of those beautiful snowy days right now. 17 degrees out. Staying in here. Thankful I don't have to shovel.

It's continuing to snow at a pretty good clip too.

Oh, I am so jealous. I live in NC now but I am from Buffalo. All of my friends are posting beautiful pictures of all the snow. There is a driving ban there so they get to just enjoy it. I miss the first good snowfall so much, after that I am good.

I saw a reporter in downtown Kalamazoo on the CBS evening news last night and my first thought was " I'm so glad I'm not there right now". It's pretty cool in FL as well, and with the gusty winds I got a free micro dermabrasion on the beach this morning, but I'm not shoveling snow!

I've seen the harsh weather on the news channels. It's sunny here in So. CA but the winds. The winds make things uncomfortable. Allergies, fallen trees, debris flying at you from everywhere. I stay in so my car doesn't get dinged or pelted with stuff coming at it from the strong winds.

Me too! I hate the bitter cold and the early dark nights. It is 19 degrees out right now. Brrrr. We got a light dusting of snow last night so I guess we were lucky in that respect at least. Could have been a lot worse.

Our last week's snow is still melting but the sun is our snow removal here. A couple of days at home is worth the beauty of the landscape. ...and good snow tires.

Wow! Must be a lot of snow if businesses are closing. They don't close stuff down here unless there is six feet of snow and it's still snowing. Sadly, we don't get winters like that anymore. We haven't even seen a hint of snow yet. But it's nice and cool - less than 20 degrees the last couple of mornings, but it's been getting warm during the day - 50s. Looking forward to winter!
