18 inches? Ugh! We are having a snow storm right now in PA. Its snowing an inch an hour. I wanted to sleep in (was up late) but the dentist called to reschedule my appt. that is cancelled today, and woke me! lol).

Of course my husband is the only one in my entire family and friends at work. The roads are a mess. Some areas are out of salt to do the roads. The local channel is coming on and off with reports. People are going off the roads while driving. I will be a nervous wreck till my husband is home safe. My husband never calls off since he became a boss. (and he could call off). So I hope and pray he gets home safe.

Stay safe and hang in there SPRING is on the way! (I just heard its supposed to be in the 40s from Saturday on and no snow in site after this so I HOPE this is the LAST storm! lol).

I said that two storms ago. I hope your husband will be safe. My brother also took 4 hours to get to work, and he's the only one there.

Shorty, we're getting hammered here in south central Pa. My youngest son (19) just got a job this week and part of that job includes doing snow plowing and removal. Problem is, he has a 45 minute one way commute. He had to be there last night by 11 pm and he left around 9:30 to be on the safe side. He didn't have any problems getting there, but today was a different story. He worked a 13 hour shift and it took almost 2 hours for him to get back home.

He said that I83 was a total mess and the roads on the way home were not even plowed.

I understand you being nervous about your husband getting home safely; hopefully he carries a cell phone to stay in touch with you and how he's doing.

Stay safe. Yes, I think we're all ready for spring to be here.

We got about 12 inches.

I had a picture of my sidewalk that I shoveled (along with our driveway) but it was too big so I deleted it. Hard work indeed...
