Valerie has a team of about 10 people working for/with her.  She often posts their holiday celebration lunches each year.  So no worries about her workload.

 

65 is still young, and especially when you're not working every aspect alone.  Appearing on air is most concentrated during the Christmas retail season and Spring retail.  Valerie seems more than capable for the job.

 

Look at Susan Graver, Renee Greenstein, and Lori Goldstein.  They've logged many more hours than Valerie ever has in any given year.

Valerie looks great at 65. She does seem to enjoy her business, so that helps I am sure.
