Re: Wounded Army Vet Plows Snow For Neighbors

A story of true kindness -- that apparently is going both ways.

He says in the article that his community has continued to support him through his rehabilitation as well as his two bouts with brain cancer.  And the snow clearing is his way of saying thanks.

This act of selflessness on his part does not surprise me, the 1% continues to do the heavy lifting in this country. His community should should help him out, it's the least they and every tax payer can do to repay him and his family for all they sacraficed.

I'm not sure whether you're saying they are not helping and they should, or that of course they should.  In any event, the link in the OP is to an article in which the vet says the community has been helping him all along and that he is plowing snow to say thanks to his community.

I don't understand your comment.  What one percent, doing what?

Did you read the article?  He's doing it because his neighborhood/community has helped him out all through his amputation, his cancer treatment and the hard times he has had.
