The event of last weekend has brought up some discussion around our circle of friends. Many of us are pseudo-publicly known, serve on committees/boards, etc. Some of us (me included) have been threatened due to our positions. It can be scary.

Another board member and I were out walking when an individual in opposition to something we were doing drove by, very slowly, put his window down, and said "you better watch yourselves."

Would you and could you continue on in such positions?
