Tell your friend her husband has been cheating & you'll be in the hot seat, tons of questions and then later the resentment against you hits.  Nope best not saying a word, in my opinion.  I don't know the person that called me when mine was cheating, but it sure opened my eyes.

Well, maybe that is the key....anonymity.

Would you want to know? I am answering a question w/a question. Unless someone else has. Didn't read all the replies.

Yes I would want to know.  What kind of a friend would know and not tell you?

It would depend on the circumstances, the level of friendship, the types of people involved and so on. I can't personally say 'yes or no' to a hypothetical without details. If I was in the position and felt the person had to know, I might try to arrange for them to find out without me having to 'break the news'... Otherwise, I might well just mention something 'innocent' in passing that would then induce them look further if they want to know...
