Sometimes you just gotta realize that discussing certain issues with some people is like banging your head against the wall. It may seem like a good idea at the time, but darn that headache just isn't worth it if that person has no sense of moderation or nuance, just a simplistic black and white approach buttressed with nothing resembling pesky facts that might get in the way of gross demonization. I guess it might be nice to go through life like that...so certain of that which is so uncertain.
