Re: Words to describe QVC's setup of these new boards

I agree.  I can't find anything, especially My Activity, and many threads.  Wjho has the time to try to figure this mess out, I don't.  I have been at it for over forty-five minutes, and still can't find what I need.

So far I think this new, improved version of the Q Forums is messier looking, not user friendly and more difficult to use.  And perhaps that's the ultimate goal.... to make some of us leave.....

One more thing.  I've seen these horrible ugly emoticons before on another site.....  what are you thinking?

I totally agree... messier, disjointed, everything seems all run together, even quotes like this.  At least when you quoted before, it was clear where the original post stopped and yours and others started.

AND I HATE THE NEW EMOTICONS - GIVE US BACK THE OTHERS!

Words?

"Beta Testing" as in there seems to have been none that included regular users.

What an ugly, sterile, clunky mess.

Re: Words to describe QVC's setup of these new boards

This is so sad. What a mess. No more Viewpoints, game threads in Community, some very old threads kept, newer ones dropped, etc. I am relatively new to this whole site, and I must say I think it is over for me. Why? I wonder if this isn't an attempt by QVC to make everything so difficult that most of us lose interest in anything that isn't directly related to selling more products. And just maybe that some of us will resort to watching the Q and ordering more stuff. The Q is such a huge and wealthy company it is very hard for me to believe this mess-up would be tolerated. In other corporate America, if any IT group messed up like this, it would be pink slip time. Just 'saying.

[ Edited ]

I'm very disappointed.

I'm getting to old for this krap!    There is not enough time left in my life to try and figure this place out.    I't not user friendly at all.  :-(

This font in the reply box is too small too.  Do I have to change the font size every time I post?

What's with the horrible emoties?

I lost about 35,000 posts.   How hard is it to move over all the same information?

My word to describe these boards is HSN.  It looks identical to their community boards.

Not ready for prime time.  I keep getting flipped back to the old forum.  I signed in with my email here and it told me it was not a valid email,  even though it was accepted and I can post.  I think it may take a few days for the administrators to iron out all the wrinkles and for the users to adjust.
