Hate the emoticons.

Thanks for anyone who helped explain some of the new features.  I can't post on those threads because I can't find my way back. *sigh*

[ Edited ]

Granted, I am fairly new to these forums, but I don't recall anyone complaining about the format or features.  Rather, many of the complaints seem to have been about the sometimes snarky comments or moderation, which could have been resolved without a complete overhaul.

I find the new format off-putting, as it is cluttered with things I don't care about (e.g. hearts), and I don't find the organization or navigation to be at all intuitive.

I'm not naive enough to believe that QVC offers these forums because they are magnanimous. They are here to increase sales.  I'm not sure these changes will accomplish that goal.  I guess time will tell.

I'm guessing that there were no focus groups or other tests conducted with actual users of the old forums before this new version was rolled out.  I would suggest to QVC that they do that now.

You probably already got a response about seeing the email, but yours was not shown to me when I clicked on your avatar.  I had the same issue, QVC chose to label some things as "public information" but included our email addresses, even though our email addresses are not visible unless we opt for that.

These forums are sad.  You'd think with all their so-called helpful previews and "ask your questions here" and so on, that they'd come up with even a basic tutorial.

It is hard to read when someone replies.  I changed the font color to make it easier but we shouldn't have to do that.

You can choose your font size before you type.  But, I wish we could make that part of our default so you don't have to do it each time.

This was supposed to be a response to another post but it didn't work.  Very frustrating.

Circles, you can edit your post by hovering over the three dots in the top left corner.   Then you'll see the edit button.

To read last post first, go to My Preferences, then Linear Layout and select Newest First.  Then click SAVE.
