"Hi, Sweetheart" to one or the other fur kid.

I have two cats, each formerly feral, who hate one another, so each is into and out of her room. (Yes, they have almost identical but separate rooms and get rotated in and out from those rooms to the rest of my townhouse.) In case they keep track, I make sure I talk to each cat all the time when we are together.  So, I do not get confused, each is "Sweetheart" when we cross paths.

Mercy is my "grandmotherly" swear word.  My DDIL told me years ago that my GD told her I say mercy a lot.
