@SharkE   I have been here literally since the beginning of the boards.  Was it called "Shop Talk" or was that the other message board they had first?  See.  So old I can't remember.

I have lots of recipes going back to the 1990's and was the one who named Inky's bbq recipe "Inky Dinky Do Q". Still the best crock pot recipe I have!  LOL!!!

I'm 67 and I think I started watching QVC in the late 1980's. I used to watch it when visiting a friend because I didn't get the channel at home since I didn't have "cable TV".  I don't remember how I found the boards here, but I read for a long time before posting.

I have a mug that says "age is just a number and mine is unlisted" I will admit to being over 64 though. There are a lot of 64's and I am not surprised because of the wisdom and helpfulness I've gotten from this board. Thank you

Oh my, all you youngsters on these boards  I guess I may be one of the oldest at 79 - some days I feel 79, some days I feel 78 lol.

Older. Like me. I never even heard of qvc til I took early retirement at 55. Too busy  with career, in which I worked long hours and practically lived on airplanes  and in hotel rooms for years. In 60s now.

Anyway, I am not choosing to be active on social media, and I found these boards a few years ago when I was trying to get an answer to a product question. I tune in and out a few times a week to see what people are talking about, and sometimes I give an opinion, but I rarely follow a whole discussion. I leave an opinion and go on about my business. I see the occasional snarky argument and just don’t want to get into all that.

I’m 76 and found the forums because I got a new I pad. 

I’m hearing disabled so when I go to lunch with friends I usually hear just parts of the conversation. I smile and pretend I hear a lot. Even with the best hearing aid I’m deaf in one ear and restaurant noise makes hearing difficult.

At first I just got information about QVC and shopping, then I posted several times and realized I was chatting with people!

The forums have helped me know more about the I pad and your opinions on topics are appreciated.
