A quality lamb jacket would cost hundreds of dollars.  I doubt if this lamb leather is anything near quality.  Also, when you piece and seam together strips of leather, it's cheaper to do so.  They are not full skins...

Here I thought this was going to be a thread about women who run companies or countries, (or possibly women who wear SPANX).  

The phrase "give birth" has more than one meaning and is widely used both ways. 

give birth

1. of a mother:  produce a baby from the body

2. to cause the beginning of something

give birth

1. cause to be born

2. create or produce an idea

give birth

1. to have a child; to bring forth young

2. to bring forth a new idea, an invention, a nation, etc.

Synonyms for "give birth'" include:

• come up with
• conceive
• devise
• formulate
• invent
• originate
• design
• make
• produce
• bring forth
• think up

As an aside, I have no idea who "Renee" is, but given the comment I can only assume she is a vendor on QVC.
