Is it any more strange than teaching your kids there is a magical guy in the sky who you can pray to, to secure eternity in paradise? I'm sure the OP would blow a gasket if anyone mocked that.I think I can control myself. After all, you guys have been mocking that for years. I didn't know the Smith's were Scientologists, but it does explain their world view.

JJsMom and Company always have to come in and attack the OP, whoever that may be, yet when others do that, they get lectured about staying on topic. 
Topaz Gem, didn't mean to make this a religion bash/debate/thread. *I* think Scientology is a little nutty, so I guess their kids view stem from whatever views their might have.

Every comment here is on topic. You slammed two kids, calling them weird, living in an alternate universe, stoner, drop outs, etc. The are KIDS. They are going to speak and act like KIDS.
As for the school tweet- the right wingers are always claiming that public school brainwashes kids, so what's the problem? Isn't that the reason for home schooling being fashionable in certain circles? So a 15 year old says it and he's a drop-out.
