Seems as often happens, the exact genesis of some of these most sage, wise quotes bounce around a bit, & subsequently, chance becoming attributed to any number of our most sage sharing philosophers, intellects & authors.  Woman Happy


@JoyFilled Warrior Yes John Green but I think he referenced the quote not as his own. I'm not sure never read it.

 

I took out my book by the Dalai Lama and couldn't find that quote.

However if he ever said some format of  it he may have been

quoting the Buddha.

 

It's still a guide for doing good regardless. We try.
