I need to remember this:

In, how I treat people, & also.

In how I am treated, both:

All we can do is to try our best.

At least we try, and much, much better than not trying at all.

Have a wonderful, peaceful, comfortable, healthy as possible, safe, and lucky New Year 2025 !

Thank you for sharing this thought. My brother sent me that quote a few months ago. It’s from the Dalai Lama.

@JoyFilled Warrior  Not quite. The quote is often attributed to the Dalai Lama- but it was written by John Huess (sp) in a Christian article or book. He actually paraphrased from Martin Huber, the philosopher of I-Thou I-It.

Regardless it is a beautiful quote, often found on inspirational sites, FB, etc. without authorship.

It really doesn't matter. The message is universal, no matter.

Hi @Cakers3

Thanks for this additional info.

I see this same quote is additionally attributed to a John Green in his work "Looking for Alaska," as well.

Seems as often happens, the exact genesis of some of these most sage, wise quotes bounce around a bit, & subsequently, chance becoming attributed to any number of our most sage sharing philosophers, intellects & authors.  Woman Happy
