Winter hasn’t officially begun and I’m ready for it to be over. My area has gotten at least 30” of snow this week and it’s still coming down. I’m in northern Michigan — dreaming of sun and green grass.

What’s the weather like where you are?

Hi to northern MI. I'm in Newaygo County. We woke up to about 6" of heavy wet snow on top of ice. Lots of power outages from downed tree limbs but our little town was spared. Stay warm.

@joannecha  — this is our second storm this week. Some people have been without power since Wednesday. Road crews and power company linemen have been working round the clock to get power restored. They said earlier that roads were impassable. I hope this isn’t a sign of what winter is going to be like his year.

Here in PA it is raining heavily at the moment.  It was freezing rain for a bit.  We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow, but not a lot.  Areas to the north are getting a lot of snow. We are on the border of the rain/snow line.

PHOENIX:    This week.....low in the 40's.....high mid 60's.    We did have a "freak" storm early Friday morning......lasted a couple hours, and that was it.  Snow on the mountains....but NOT on the ground!    Golfers paradise(!)

@joannecha , @akaburtonfan  Wisconsin is getting it too. DH blew out the driveway this morning but the snow is supposed to continue for a few more hours. We're hoping some sunshine this week will melt a portion of it.

Farmers Almanac said the winter for the Southwest is to be warmer and drier than usual.  It has been very cold with a high of 43° here today (22° last night), and 7" of snow TG Day.  November was second wettest on record.  The sun is shining thpugh.

For all that are in the path of the snow — stay safe and warm.

@Snowpuppy  Be careful on the ice — hopefully they’ve salted the roads.
