We still have some, but they just showed Pa. and they need lights to drive through it.  Be careful one and all.  Hope it is over very soon for everyone.  Ours in SW MI is nothing like that!

Adding: they just said it could go on for a few more months since (Canada) has many wildfires going on.

My husband's watch shows air quality and at 6am it says 222 which is unhealthy for all people.

The haze looks much better in Michigan today. Yesterday morning when I walked outside it smelled like a campfire.

So far, so good, here in CT. Please, take care of yourselves if you're in one of the affected areas.  Nothing to fool around with. Here are pictures of the air quality here in SW CT about a month ago, the last time we experienced this.  This was near my house. You can really see how dangerous it was.

We've had high humidity and some rain, that may have helped us a bit, this morning we're at 160, yesterday we were at 235.  I cannot see the mountains that are across from us, usually I can see the cars driving on the road on the closest one. I hope everyone takes good care.

The air quality where I live in ENE PA according to Airnowdotgov is 157 this morning. Philadelphia is at 162.

These 2 numbers are in the "Unhealthy" category.

When we recently had it very bad it was 438+.

You can put your zip code in that website to see your current air quality.

Read the post and then I started to cough: thought it was the power of suggestion.  Opened the door and thought another day with full sky of clouds, but then I realized it was smoke from the Canadian wildfires ramping up again this week.

Must be very difficult for folks who have to work outside!  Even more dangerous for those with lung issues....

Still hazy here and makes me cough now and then and my eyes are bothered by this as well.

So trying to do more on the inside and get my errands done as well so I am not out in much.

But dang I do not want to be shut in like we were for the pandemic.

We're code red today. They're telling everyone to stay indoors with the ac on. If you must go outside, wear an N95 mask.
