Re: Wild Animals in Perspective

I have read that tigers are the largest of the big cat family.  Looking at this photo, I agree!  What a magnificent animal, so beautiful.  As an animal advocate, I appreciate you sharing this photo.

Look at the tigers arm!

Couldn't you just stare at him all day?!

@SilleeMee  that guy looks well over 6ft tall.  I bet the cat is at least 9ft tall.  Beautiful creature.

Now how bout them elephants!

This photo did generate some disapproval- at a game park in zimbabwe this 4 year old boy walked up to the elephant to say hi as his father was taking photos.

The park did say the elephants are very used to having children and visitors of all sizes around.

Still, I wouldn't even though they are friendly.

@on the bay Oh, my goodness! I love elephants but that big guy would intimidate me. That is a special photo. Thank you for sharing. There is big and then there is huge!

@goldensrbest   that is something I knew but wasn't thinking about it when viewing the pic.   I never understood why the animal has to give up his life for the stupidity of a human ....should nit ever be the result .   Now with this pic he may know the tiger very well,  still that's why they are referred to as Wild Animals because they are unpredictable and shouldn't be pets or friends with any human really .
