OK already the tv and air waves are overflowing with media hype for the upcoming Wicked movie.  Can you just imagine all the $$ made on all the stuff being sold?  I do not "buy" into this type of hype.  It's a movie (first a Broadway show!) for heaven's sake.

It's like any other major Hollywood production, especially one directed toward children and rated pg.  The kids want dolls and paraphernalia related to something about which they're excited.

I'm ready to hear about something beside what's been going on in the country.

I'm thinking back to to Star Wars with the action figures, space ships and Princess Leia dolls as well as E.T. dolls. I do no get the outrage over the Wicked paraphernalia.
