I will probably regret posting this, but It is a pet peeve of mine, so here goes nothing. Why is it when someone asks a question here, rather than answering or if you have no knowledge of the answer, just moving on , some posters use it as a scolding opportunity ???  Yes, yes, it is your right, blah, blah, blah but does it answer the question ? I've received such good advice here and answers to my questions without unsolicited nonsense. That's all rant over. 🌺

I totally agree, most recently scolding for not ordering until the last minute.  All kinds of things happen to cause a person to have need of something at the last minute, I agree with you so many judgemental answers!  I wish everyone would do better.

The short version .... when people have screen names and not their real life names listed, they answer differently.  Anonymity can give bullies courage.  

The other thought .....   people just don't think.  

That's all that comes to mind right now.

 @QVCkitty1  Of course it isn't just you. Some people raise themselves up by tearing others down.It says more about them than the people they're bullying.

I totally agree. I rarely ask anything here, except for the most benign thing because of this tendency.  Forget asking advice here unless you're up for the lashing. And heaven forbid you misspell something.

I don't mind them. I suspect they had critical parents and are as hard on themselves as they are to others.

I don't expect to like every post, but the pleasing ones far exceed those that aren't.

@occasionalrain , That is a kind way to look at it. However, the smug replies really bother me and I'm sorry but I seriously doubt they are hard on themselves. If I'm wrong I can live with it.

@NicksmomESQ  Agree wholeheartedly.  I did a paper on Nurse Ratched of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and I never forgot that lesson. No need to tear others down to build up yourself.

@QVCkitty1   It really should be that simple shouldn't it?!  Answer the question and save the nasty judgmental opinions for your loved ones ha.
