Why wouldn't you tip?

I was reading on another thread where someone said that some posters here had vehemently expressed that they do not tip and I was just curious as to why not. No attack or judgement, just simple wide-eyed curiosity. I have heard of tipping comparatively to the service provided (you wouldn't tip 20% for terrible service) but never just an outright, general, opposition to the subject of tipping. Anyone care to chime in? Thanks! Have a good one!
